CURRENT Athens is an online platform for the non-hierarchical promotion of contemporary art.
Voula Paraskevi Ferentinou is an Athens-based visual artist and illustrator.
She studied Painting at Athens School of Fine Arts (Hons) (2007)
She also attended Graphic Design, Multimedia, Sculpture, Photography courses.
She received distinction for her achievements from the State Scholarships Foundation of Greece (2004 - 2005)
She obtained a degree of Master of Arts in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design of London (2009 - 2011).
She has a BA in Political Science from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She presented her first duo exhibition with Vasiliki Pantazi at the Cube gallery in Patras (2017).
She participated in more than 50 group exhibitions in Greece venues including National Bank of Greece-Historical Archives, Technopolis Athens, Hellenic Cosmos Athens, Municipal Art Gallery, The Factory ASFA, Averoff Museum Metsovo, National Gallery of Karditsa, Eos Art Gallery, Agathi Art gallery, Ekfrasi-yianna grammatopoulou gallery, Cheapart of Athens, Thessaloniki and Cyprus. Abroad venues including Künstlerhaus in Vienna, Shoreditch Town Hall in London, Rochelle School in London, Central Station of Strasbourg, in France, the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in Italy and Damascus and Aleppo in Syria.
She taught art lessons in 3th and 6th Primary School of Petroupoli in Greece according to Art Education Program.
She has several graphic design works mainly posters and book covers.
