Faidra Vasileiadou is a museologist and an independent art curator, based in Athens. She holds a master degree in museology and cultural management at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a bachelor degree in conservation of antiquites and works of art at Technological Institute of Athens. While finishing her MA internship in CACT, she participated in NEON’s first exhibition in Thessaloniki, as an art mediator and continued working with the organisation until 2018. In addition, the curatorial fellowship she attended in 2016 in Schwarz Foundation, in collaboration with Katerina Gregou, shaped her curatorial knowledge and developed her organizational skills. Completing the curatorial fellowship, she moved to Athens, where she lives and works to this day as an independent curator. Since then she has curated exhibitions at SNEHTA residency, Daily Lazy Athens, Koren process space etc., while she has participated as an assistant curator in exhibitions curated by Kostis Velonis, in Athens and Vienna. For the last three years, she has been working at MOMus – Museum Alex Mylona, while developing her curatorial practice independently.
