Narrative Framings Metaphor feat. Callirrhoë With works by Selma Köran, Fleur Melbourn, Erica Scourti, Valinia Svoronou, Giorgios Tserionis, Amalia Vekri; curated by Olympia Tzortzi 10 – 21 May 2022 Opening day: 10 May, 7 pm – 10 pm What could be a perfect narrative, a beautiful story, the ideal beginning or ending of a tale? Could a single narrative be faultless? Is the world, in which we are living, errorless? Selma Köran, Fleur Melbourn, Erica Scourti, Valinia Svoronou, Giorgios Tserionis and Amalia Vekri are creating their own micro-cosmos balancing between fiction and reality, addressing contemporary issues by working with “grand“ narratives and giving us the necessary space for thought and reflection. Entering the exhibition space seems like a passage to the potential parallel world future. The visitors are confronted with stories assumed to be familiar and elements that are effectively working as modern allegories.
