The Goethe-Institut Athens and Hot Wheels Athens invite you to the book launch and reading of Jesper List Thomsen's FREEEee, his most recent text published by l'Esprit de l'Escalier. The event will take place on September 27 at the Institute.

Part folksong part lecture, FREEEee is a text that probes the parameters of corporeal and intellectual deliberation, of essayistic logic and poetic neglect, via a series of encounters with current and deceased thinkers. Each confronting the project of dismantling identity, these meetings engender List Thomsen's text to produce a work (and a reading) that uses language, voice, and the pictorial bodily impact of writing as a means to move through visual culture.

Jesper List Thomsen is a Danish artist and writer living in Turin and London whose work and readings have recently been presented at Kölnischer Kunstverein, Cologne; West Den Haag, The Hague; Braunsfelder, Cologne; Hot Wheels Athens, Athens; Parrhesiades, London; and Fanta-MLN, Milan.

Aristotelis Nikolas Mochloulis is an artist and writer living in Athens. His short story Toilet Story was recently published at Hobart Pulp.
