During May, I have been experimenting with experiential and participatory workshops, including the collaboration of various local practitioners; through the workshops, notions around self-positioning and the relations of being implicated, connected and interrelated with others and with the world around us were discussed. These open doors will be the opportunity to see and experience some of the props and traces constructed during the workshop session. Simultaneously I will present some texts, some images and a few objects from his ongoing research practice in performance.

For the residency at Yellow Brick, Juan Duque has drawn from his current PhD inquiry, in which he explores epistemic diversity and temporality, while reorienting his art practice towards relational interconnection with local understandings of place, site and territory.
In the presentation of his research Juan will propose to the guests the constitution of temporary places for exploring, exchanging, and creating collective knowledge through diverse art forms, such as temporary sculpture constructions, expanded drawing and body movement. The presentation will implement the collaborative co-creation of performative scores as a methodology.
